As in previous years, the tournament will comprise a British Parliamentary Debate competition for all ages. There will be no pre-prepared motions. There will be five rounds, semi-finals and a final, as well as novice semi-finals and final. Schools may enter up to five teams. The N-2 rule should be observed for judges (ie please provide at least 2 judges if you intend to enter 4 teams etc.). Below you can see a provisional schedule for the tournament. 



The competition will take place via Zoom, as this has proven to be an effective platform for debate tournaments. All participating students will be required to present a signed declaration from their parents or guardians consenting to their participation. More information regarding the logistics of the tournament, as well as the parental consent form, will follow shortly.
