Looking Ahead: Careers and University Pathways in Year 11

We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming Partnership with Parents session focused on the KS4 Futures Journey.

This Partnership with Parents session in collaboration with our Futures Department, we will explore guidance and advice on careers and university options. We will also outline the Year 11 programme leading into the IB years, when university applications begin.

We will walk you through key milestones in the KS4 Futures Journey, including:

• University Fair and Visits – broadening horizons and encouraging ambition.
• The Unifrog Exploration Tool – developing research and reflection skills using our digital platform.
• Career Coaching through PSHCE – building self-awareness and employability skills, incorporating theories and tools from Narrative Career Coaching and Designing Your Life (Stanford Life Design Lab).
• Introduction to Psychometric Testing.
• Profile enhancement through company visits and volunteering.
• Summer School Applications – exploring academic and enrichment opportunities.
• 2026 1:1 Year 11 Individual Meetings – individual support in career and academic planning.
• IB Subject Selection – informed decision-making for the Diploma Programme.
• Day-On-The-Job – a Year 11 student-led experience to gain real-world insights.

Our aim is to give you a clear overall picture of how these experiences connect to help each student discover their interests, develop their confidence, and make well-informed choices for their future, as well as provide a timeline.

At the end of the session, there will be a Q&A with Mrs Bougos and Mrs Arabas regarding Year 11 Mocks.
