Join us for a very special Partnership with Parents, the first in a series designed to support boys in our community in emotional and academic wellbeing.
In this session, School Counsellor Serafim Zouka will explore how vulnerability, connection, and modern understandings of masculinity can impact boys so we can work together as a community to engage strategies to build resilience.
What We Will Explore
• How today’s culture shapes boys’ identities
• Why traditional messages about strength can limit emotional expression
• The impact of suppression on wellbeing, relationships and learning
Please register your attendance to ensure we can make the appropriate arrangments.
If you are not able to join us in person, the livestream link is included in this event posting, but it will not be active until the evening of the event.
Ahead of this session, we invite you to read this short story of identity and belonging from a boy's point of view. It highlights how easily, and how quietly, kids, specifically boys, can feel like they’ve lost something important… even when everything looks positive on the outside.
