This past weekend, St. Catherine’s British School hosted its first-ever alumni event in London, bringing together former students and teachers for an evening of connection, conversation, and community.

Set in the heart of the city, the gathering drew 55 alumni representing graduating classes from 1990 to 2024. Guests travelled from across the UK to be part of this milestone moment for the school’s growing alumni network.

Spirited conversations, joyful reunions, and shared laughter among alumni and staff gave the evening a special buzz as graduates reconnected across generations, swapped stories from their school days, and engaged with school leadership on exciting updates from St. Catherine’s.

Throughout the evening, alumni eagerly asked about their favourite teachers, changes on campus, and what future opportunities might bring them back into the St. Catherine’s fold. Their enthusiasm underscored just how deeply connected they remain—not just to each other, but to the school that helped shape their journeys. Headteacher Jon Perriss, who welcomed alumni to the event shared:

“It was fantastic to connect with so many St. Catherine's alumni, and wonderful to celebrate everything that St. Catherine's was, is and will be, in the heart of London. The bonds are clearly strong, and I was delighted with the enthusiasm for this and future events. I look forward to seeing many more of you in the coming months and years."

Also in attendance was Deborah Eleftheriou, Head of Alumni Relations, who reflected on the significance of the occasion:

“Reconnecting with so many familiar faces—some after many years—was incredibly moving. The warmth and gratitude from our St Cats alumni was humbling. As our first official alumni event in London, this is just the beginning. We are thrilled to see such enthusiasm and look forward to deepening these lifelong connections..”
