Last Saturday night, nearly 40 St. Catherine’s alumni gathered at The Glassblower in Piccadilly for an evening that captured the spirit of the St Cats community: warm, connected and ever growing.

Alumni spanning more than five decades, from those who joined St Catherine’s as early as 1971 through to our newest graduates from the Class of 2025, came together to reconnect, reminisce and welcome the newest generation into a lifelong network. Conversations moved easily from memories of school days to where life has taken everyone since, with new friendships forming alongside old ones, the sharing of great memories!

What stood out most was the unmistakable sense that being a St Cat does not end when you leave the school gates. It evolves. The values, friendships and shared experiences built during those early years continue to shape lives around the world. Seeing alumni from different eras gathered in one place was a powerful reminder that the St Catherine’s story continues to grow through every member of its community.

Members of the St Catherine’s team were right there joining the evening, including Principal Jon Perriss, Deputy Head and Head of Upper School Stuart Bond, Head of Development and Alumni Relations Deborah Eleftheriou and Alumni Relations Coordinator Amaryllis Knight.

The generosity of the community was also felt on the night with an alumnus generously giving €2,000 to kick off a match fund in support of the Together for Tomorrow Fund doubling every alumni donation until the €2,000 amount is reached. Thank you to everyone who contributed and continues to support the future of St Catherine’s.

Above all, the evening was a celebration of the people who make this community so special. We are deeply grateful to every alum who came along, shared their stories and helped create such a memorable gathering. Your presence is what keeps the St Cats spirit vibrant and growing.

As our alumni community continues to expand around the world, evenings like this remind us that the connection to St Catherine’s is not bound by time or place. It is something that endures, bringing people together wherever they may be.

If you were unable to join us this time, we hope to see you at a future gathering. Until then, the St Cats community remains only a message away.

If you have not already done so, we encourage you to make the most of StCatsConnect. The platform is the best way to stay connected with fellow alumni, discover upcoming events and remain part of the global St Catherine’s network.
