St Catherine's British School and Edu4all non profit (empowering students) joined together in aid of Women's Empowerment and in support of Elpida association and the girls rehabilitation programme. We will be one voice with Athens College students as a stronger force collectively for the global topic of 'empowering women/girls' through education. This project is linked to UNESCO's 4th & 5th goal regarding Quality in Education and Gender Equality.

The evening was very significant to me, being a woman myself, the event evoked a positive atmosphere surrounding a sense of empowerment and equality. From singing, to reciting poems or speeches, all performances enhanced and contributed to an inspirational and moving celebration. Madeleine M., IB1 student
The anticipation for this IB CAS project created a sense of teamwork and cooperation in the lead up to the event that was very unique. More specifically, the fluent communication across age groups and backgrounds in pursuit of a common goal was impressive. This fluency allowed for very efficient allocation of tasks to all participants but also to bilateral assistance. Vassilis H., IB1 student
It was an exhilarating evening filled with student expression and genuine passion; the instant camaraderie between all of the leaders and artists who united to support each other and our cause was incredibly inspiring. As intimidating as being onstage was, I enjoyed every second and would do it all over again if I could. Marina P., IB1 student
I really enjoyed being part of such an important event and being able to share my thoughts on equality and empowerment with my friends and family. Their presence there helped me overcome my discomfort with public speaking. I hope I can be a part of something of such a great significance again in the future. Kleo T., IB1 student
Throughout the whole evening I felt very empowered and emotionally touched by my classmates words, in their speeches. When I went on stage to recite the poem that my friend and I wrote I truly felt powerful and realised that there is still chance and room for change. I hope that in the future, every girl, every woman will feel the way that I felt in this event. Powerful! Marilita S., IB1 student
