StCatsConnect platform was launched in its beta stage in the summer to our alumni community. Some of our alumni signed up in the early stages, and gave their feedback about the functionality and features on the site. Thank you for that! 

We then launched the site to a wider audience in mid September, to current parents and staff and are pleased to see that over 400 new members have signed up so far. While this is great news, there are so many members of our community still yet to join. We are focussing on our reach to alumni to sign up! There are so many St Cats alumni around the globe who would make a difference on our community platform, so please help us spread the word.  

We would like to thank all of you who have signed up already, and ask you to please continue inviting your friends and family to join. Remember, our community includes anyone who has ever been a part of the St Catherine's journey. Former students, parents, staff, interns and volunteers are all cherished members of St Cats family. As far as the alumni, it doesn’t matter how long you were at the school or if you left before graduating: If you spent time at StCats, you shared what many have described as a life-changing experience and you will find your digital space within StCatsConnect.

The online tools are all the more important these days, as the COVID-19 pandemic is preventing us from organising parent and Alumni events or inviting you all into school. However, we have decided to create a series of online sessions around various topics, and will be inviting our community to connect virtually, which has become the safe new norm. We recently held our first virtual PTSA meeting, and had a lively chat on line about the coming year. Watch this space for information about the future virtual events!

There are so many way to stay in touch and be connected!  Enjoy the online platform, make connections in our diverse range of mini communities, share stories - read all our achievements and successes and student ideas, sign up as a mentor and give back in so many ways,  support each other as communities do.
