In three words, how would you describe the past 10 years since leaving St. Catherine’s?

Eventful, fulfilling, evolving

Where did life take you after graduation, and what are you doing today?

I got my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Bath, completing a four-year program that included two six-month work placements in London and a study-abroad semester in Hong Kong. Due to the pandemic, I completed my degree remotely from Athens, before moving to London a few months later to begin my career in advertising.

I spent three years working in Client Services, gaining valuable experience in managing accounts and delivering client-focused solutions. I then returned to Athens to join my family’s event production company, Pro Events, as a Project Manager. Since then, I have been actively involved in delivering a wide range of events and continue to enjoy the dynamic nature of the industry, the clients I work with, and the constant opportunity to learn and grow.

What has surprised you most about your twenties so far?

What has surprised me most is how many different lives you can live in such a short time – in the best possible way. It’s a decade defined by experiencing, experimenting, taking risks, failing, and trying again.

I never imagined I would return to Athens so soon after graduating, but looking back over the past seven years, I’m very happy with how things have worked out.

What is one memory from your school days that still makes you smile?

How my friends and I used to gather on the pitch during breaks, and we always knew exactly where to find each other. It was such a nice feeling knowing I had them so close and that I could see them every day.

Looking back, is there something you learned at school that has stayed with you personally over the years?

The importance of community. I am still very close to a lot of my friends from St. Catherine’s and over the years, new friendships have formed because of the strong foundation the school created for us.

Is there a teacher, moment, or experience at St. Catherine’s that influenced your path or inspired you in any way?

I really enjoyed studying psychology. It helped me see and understand things from a different perspective, and that way of thinking has stayed with me ever since.

What is something you are especially proud of from the past decade?

I’m proud of how I’ve managed to prioritise myself and maintain a healthy work–life balance, even while working in a very dynamic and unpredictable industry.

As we celebrate 70 years of St. Catherine’s this year, what does being part of the Alumni community mean to you today?

I’m currently working with the school to organise our 10-year reunion, and it’s great to see how much effort the Alumni Relations team puts into keeping us engaged.

What advice you would give to today’s students about to start their own journey?

Don’t be too hard on yourself – it will all work out. Even if things don’t go as initially planned, trust your gut, and you’ll end up exactly where you’re meant to be.

In one word, what does St Catherine’s mean to you, 10 years later?

Connection
