After a successful Sports Camp last year, we are delighted to inform you that we will be running the camp again this summer for St Catherine’s Lower School students in Years 2 to 6 and for Upper School students Years 7 to 12. The camp will be run by our dedicated and experienced team of St Catherine’s coaches.
Our intention is to run the Upper School camp on:
• Upper School only - Monday 27th June to Friday 8th July from 17:00 until 21:00
• Upper and Lower Schools - Monday 11th July to Friday 15th July from 8:30 until 14:00
Our intention is to run the Lower School camp on:
• Lower School only - Monday 27th June to Friday 15th July from 8:30 until 14:00
Year 7 students will have the option to join the morning sessions from 8:30 until 14:00, however, depending on
numbers they may have the option to move to the afternoon sessions.
Our aim is to create a programme for students be outdoors, playing sport and interacting with each other socially, as well as developing values such as sportsmanship and learning new skills. By playing sport, students not only develop their physical skills and exercise, but they also make new friends, have fun, learn to be a team member, learn about fair play, build on their self confidence and self-esteem. Ultimately, our goal is to create a welcoming environment to make us feel good about ourselves, confidence, emotionally and physically. The sports programme will include football, rugby, basketball, swimming and tennis. These will all take place on our school premises.
All the students who participate in the sports camp will receive a complimentary ball, certificate and a medal.
This year there will also be some surprises - more information will follow!
Upper School Camp:
Morning Programme: €250 per week.
Afternoon programme: €225 per week
Lower School Camp - €250 per week.
The deadline for registration is Friday 6th May.
