At St Catherine’s, the IB Diploma is not a track reserved for a select few; it is our core academic pathway undertaken collectively by the graduating class. This year’s achievements demonstrate the power of an inclusive environment where students are supported to meet the challenge of a rigorous, world-class curriculum. 

Key highlights from the Class of 2026 include: 

• An average score of 36.2 points, continuing St Catherine's tradition of comfortably exceeding the IBO global average of 30.5 points, and our third highest in 21 examination sessions 
• 33% of our students achieved top-tier scores of 40 points or higher (compared to the IBO global average of 9%) 
• Three student(s) achieved a perfect score of 45 points, a St. Catherine’s first in a regular examination session  
• 98% of full Diploma candidates successfully passed the IB Diploma (compared to the IBO global pass rate of 81%)

During the summer when some re-mark changes come through and we receive confirmation from the universities and students as to their final chosen universities, and then we will be able to clarify this year’s placement into Higher Education. We will share the final confirmed outcome as to the results and university placement at the start of the new school year.
