On Thursday 15th of April we hosted our first Virtual Careers Fair which supported by our global Alumni. Over 40+ alumni speakers joined us to share their experience about their university and/or careers path from all over the world.  It was really one of those moments when the St Catherine's journey was in motion as it should be, with our alumni and students joining together!  Thank you to everyone involved.

The event was a great experience for our students as they were able to speak to someone who had been where they are going, providing the students with a great insight of what is coming up, especially in light of the past challenging year and many students have not visited the university they will be attending.  Every session was buzzing with questions!  A huge thank you to all our alumni who took part and our Year 12 CAS students Amalia, Anna and Melia who helped organise this event!

"It was inspiring to hear, first hand, from the experienced alumni. My largest takeaway was the difference in student life at each university; I narrowed down my list of universities immensely. I can safely say I am less stressed about the application process. Hopefully we can make this an annual event!" Amalia 

"I really enjoyed the alumni event. I felt as though it was the perfect mix of fun and information. I believe it was a great educational experience that helped me understand what I want to take away from my university experience." Melia 

"The Alumni Fair was an extremely helpful experience. The fact that these were alumni from StCats meant that it was easier for students to understand the application process to universities or specific industries with the same background as these alumni. Personally, it meant that I could learn what to include/exclude from personal statements and what each university was looking for and how each of these universities' student life differed." Anna
