What is your fondest memory of St Catherine’s?

I attended St Cats from the age of 5 until 10. I think the fondest thing is playing with a friend in an area that was by our classroom.

What was the most important thing you learned at St Catherine’s?

That it is OK to stand up in front of others, even when you are super embarrassed and turn red—because people will still like you ;)

How did St. Catherine’s help shape your path?

I found my best friend, who is like my sister.

What was your first job after finishing school, and what do you currently do?

I worked as a waitress during the summer and then became a Marine Insurance Broker, which is what I still do.

What is the most important lesson you have learned since graduating?

That there should be no rush at all to grow up.

What are your top 3–5 career highlights, and why do they stand out?

  • Building a startup company
  • Winning my first client
  • Being named a junior partner
  • Building a strong and respected team

What do you enjoy doing for fun?

Mainly seeing friends, travelling, hiking, and dancing when I can.

What activities are you involved in outside of your career?

Practising yoga, exercising, charity work, and running a yoga studio.

What are you most proud of—professionally and personally?

Taking the time to work on my faults and insecurities in an effort to be a better person.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Believe in your abilities more and be kinder to yourself.

What advice would you share with fellow St. Catherine’s alumni?

Life is very short, so take the time to enjoy even the simple moments.
