  • You can access the official site for Greece2021 where you can read information, articles and amazing resources for the Greek history. The Committee "Greece 2021", with Mrs Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki as the President, was established by decision of the Prime Minister in order to form the overall framework of actions and events to be held in Greece and abroad, on the occasion of the completion of 200 years from the Revolution of 1821.

The song "May the dances never stop" by Dionysis Savvopoulos was chosen by the Committee "Greece 2021" to use in the video clip for the Revolution's 200th anniversary, which took three months of continuous group work to complete the entire project. This happy and hopeful song, which has been loved by millions of Greeks, narrates the historical course of Greece by using a group of contemporary Greeks’ celebration as an allegory.

  • Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) presents “Faces of the hero” series of events in celebration of the two-hundred-year anniversary of the beginning of the Greek revolution of 1821. Click on this link to watch the events.

  • Watch the Greek National Anthem in Sign Language for the very first time. The video was created by the Association of Teachers of Sign Language in Greece. As it is a literary work, it could not be a common translation from Greek into sign language. Thus, an 18-member committee was set up with linguists, philologists, theologians and teachers of sign language, mostly deaf themselves. This is the first time that the National Anthem is "captured" in sign language, through a video.

  • “Greece of tomorrow” webinars: The webinars and lectures organized by the Hellenic Innovation Network in collaboration with the Greek Consulate in Boston, and with the participation of distinguished Greek scientists. On March 11, MIT professor and member of the Plenary Session of the Greece 2021 Commission, Konstantinos Daskalakis, and Fotini Christia, also an MIT professor, talked about "Tomorrow's Revolution", Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Watch all the available webinars here.

  • "The Idea of Greece" by the Hellenic Heritage Foundation: Podcasts for the Greek revolution by the Hellenic Heritage Foundation in Toronto. Watch the The Greek Revolution on Spotify: a series of podcasts under the title "The idea of Greece: 1821" that explore the different periods of the Revolution, heroes and events of that time.
