Year 11 (2020-2021 academic year) results confirm that St Catherine's continues to set the standards in Greece and they compare favorably with other top schools around the globe.

When students opened their envelopes the picture that emerged was one of remarkable excellence expressed through huge smiles, something we all observed in today's celebration ceremony. Two top scorer students achieved a complete set of maximum 9 and A* grades; an incredible 69 % were awarded A*-A & 7-9, comparing to a 63% in 2020. The results remind everyone St Catherine's motto "Excellence and Happiness" and one again showcase what a first class education within an international school environment looks like and can achieve.  We are thrilled that all the hard work by students and teachers has paid off.

IGCSE grades awarded as Teacher Assessed Grades based on three pieces of evidence per student and thus, extensive summer testing took place, since examinations did not take place for second year running. Despite the changes the students deserve full congratulations. It was a very challenging year for them all and the grades had to be earned and evidenced; the tireless efforts of the teachers who were also collecting evidence all year round is to be acknowledged.

Snapshots from the Ceremony

These are tremendous results for many of our students and it is not only the the headline-grabbing A* students that we celebrate but also the many students who pushed themselves to levels of achievement beyond expectations. Our Year 11 results have been consistently strong for many years now and the outstanding IB results that follow on, are clear signs that commitment and excellence are well embedded in principle and practice at St Catherine's British School. Taking this opportunity we would like to say how proud we are of the students and of their teachers  who really do make a differenc in so many ways; congratulations and thank you for the continuous support should be sent to all our families as well!

Once again, congratulations to all the students and we look forward to hearing about your future success!

Two students have received top scores and were awarded with an exceptional performance mention.

Well done to all our students!
