Support the Refugee Children this Christmas!

COVID will not stop us supporting the children! Music is on the way from the St Catherine's community!

Make a difference today, it is just a click away right here !

For the past couple of years, the students and our St. Catherine’s community have been supporting the refugee children in Malakasa at Christmas with our super successful shoebox initiative, donating school supplies, coloured pencils, toiletries and other Christmas gifts.

This year, although facing the challenges of the pandemic, it was very important to us to find a way to still contribute to Christmas for the children and make it as joyful as possible. We contacted the Director of the refugee camp and asked how we could help, and they told us about their campaign to purchase musical instruments, which we think is a fabulous idea and we hope you do too.

Music brings so much joy and so we would like to reach out to you to support this important cause and let's buy musical instruments together as a community for the children.

We would also like to ask you to go a step further, and donate all your unused instruments once school opens, as this will really make the difference.

There are 500 families at the Malakasa refugee camp and 700 children, and we would like to make a difference in the lives of the children with music.

Every donation helps, so thank you for your support and thank you for helping us to help the children.

Your ongoing support is much appreciated!

The student senate wishes you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a New Year 2021 year filled with good health and happiness !
