Earlier this month, Universities Week 2025 at St Catherine’s was a vibrant celebration of opportunity, exploration, and connection.
Beginning on Monday, 15 September, with inspiring virtual alumni chats, and culminating on Thursday, 18 September, with our largest-ever Universities Fair, the week brought our community together in dynamic and meaningful ways.
From the very first day, our students benefitted from the wisdom of our global alumni community, who joined to share their experiences of university life from 22 universities in the U.S., the U.K., Europe. These conversations gave our students a first-hand perspective on studying abroad, adapting to new cultures, and pursuing ambitions beyond the classroom.
The week continued with a series of panel presentations that equipped families with practical insights: navigating the university application process, exploring opportunities for student athletes, and understanding the diverse pathways available in higher education worldwide. Parents and students alike appreciated these engaging sessions that provided both knowledge and confidence for the journey ahead.
The highlight of the week was the 2025 Universities Fair, which this year welcomed a record-breaking 80 world-class universities and educational institutions from across the globe — double the number from last year. Our campus came alive with energy and curiosity as students and families embraced this unique opportunity to:
One parent captured the spirit of the event perfectly:
“Thank you for organizing the University Fair. It was an informative and well-prepared event. The opportunity for us to speak directly with the university representatives was especially valuable, providing helpful insights and giving us plenty to reflect on. It was a worthwhile afternoon and a great starting point for thinking about future pathways.”
At St Catherine’s, our mission is to empower young people to understand, care, and create a better future. Universities Week 2025 was a powerful expression of this mission, guided by our values of Care, Dedication, Curiosity, and Integrity.
By creating connections between our students and universities, we celebrate not only academic excellence but also the future careers, adventures, and contributions to society that await our graduates.
