St Catherine's meets International Development Offices to support alumni

St Catherine's Head of Development, Mrs Eleftheriou, had a virtual meeting with International Development offices to explore ways for alumni support.

Last week Mrs Deborah Eleftheriou, Head of Development, participated in an Alumni Networking Group and met virtually with 6 International Development Offices to discuss the best ways to support Alumni during these times.

Organised by Mrs Michelle Collin, Director of Development and Alumni Relations in the American School of Barcelona. Mrs Collin mentions "Being new to Spain and the American School of Barcelona, I was eager to reach out to my development and alumni colleagues within international schools in Europe to share ideas, collaborate and support one another. The response has been so encouraging! The St. Catherine's team, in particular, have been instrumental in sharing their experiences with the launch of their new community portal, StCatsConnect. We hope to be able to offer something similar to our school community soon."

Mrs Eleftheriou added  " It is a great initiative and a productive first meeting of international Development professionals coming together for a common goal.   Reaching out and engaging with our alumni plays an integral part of who we want to be and I came away from the meeting with many new ideas to share with the team.  COVID has affected us all and it is the time to share knowledge and experience and have understood the value of StCatsConnect for all our community. We were  very happy to share with the American School of Barcelona.   I am looking forward to the next meeting'

We were very  pleased to meet with international professional collegues and exchange ideas and knowledge about development and building alumni relations. Supporting our alumni is very important to us and we are always looking for ways to engage with them and ensure that St Catherine's is always by their side especially during these uncertain times.

Networking is important for us all!
