The Fire Truck has arrived in Greece!

Thank you for your support! Please watch the fabulous arrival of the new fire engine for the OEDD in Greece!

Once again 'community shines through' to make a difference at St Catherine's.

The new fire engine has arrived in Greece thanks to the generous support of all our community and all the  amazing effort with the children.

We would like to send a huge thank you to all our community, especially the students for the whole school effort for the OEDD volunteer Firefighters fundraiser.

Together we raised €25,908 with all our community's support, and the OEDD firefighters were able to purchase a new responder vehicle, which you can see arriving at the fire station bright and shiny with the fanfare in the middle of the night! . This new vehicle will make the difference in how the OEDD team can function in emergencies with their more up to date equipment and ensure they are safer on the road. The new responder vehicle has the capacity of a 6 man team to really make a difference in life-saving incidents where time is of the essence

A huge THANK YOU to OEDD volunteer firefighters for coming on site, back in November for the whole day and spending the day with our students with fabulous activities that were not only educational, but also to understand what it means to be a volunteer, and to risk one's life as a fireman, to respect for what they do every day!  THANK YOU to all of our community for being so generous, not only donations but, with their time and supporting the fundraiser, for a fabulous launch day

Thank you once again to the PTSA who support the school inititatives whole heartedly. Last but not least, all our amazing children and their teachers who supported the fundraiser all day in their classrooms together with the fire team,....alongside the families.

It was a true whole school effort!

This is our favourite kind of gift -  'a gift that keeps giving back!'

Thank you
