The doors opened at 7.30pm, we had 250 alumni signed up as 'going' to the alumni event....

The cocktail mix was ready, the vibe was 'cool and collected', so many teachers had arrived early..... we were excited.... and so we should have been!

It was our first big event in the foyer of the new Upper School and we couldn't wait to share it with our alumni, who many were home for the holidays....

Writing this brings back the memory of our beloved graduates hugging our teachers and staff and old friends, and a buzz that we had hoped would be there...... coming home to family! 

 270-300 alumni arrived from all the year groups including the earlier years in the 90s.  It was fabulous and they loved the tour of the new Upper School, and know they can back anytime!

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came,  we know it is not possible for everyone around the globe, but we promise we will find ways to engage with all our alumni students and staff this coming year.

So many old friends and new ones and retired staff coming together to share all the memories. At the end of the event staff said 'it was the best Christmas present' and alumni left us with the best Christmas present 'great event, see you next year, same time, same place!'   Thank you to all the staff and alumni for ending the year on the highest note!
